Teaching about Christ: Paul's prayer was answered as way back in this book he prayed that he would go to Rome, and he made it there by the grace of God.

Command to obey: Receive the good news of Christ with gladness, and accept this free gift.

Promise to claim: God's promises are dependable.

New truth learned: Paul possessed the sign gifts of the apostles. To heal and here in this chapter, he was bitten by a venomous snake and it had no ill effect on him. He made it to Rome where he preached the gospel for two years. As always is the case, some believed and some didn't.
