Acts 20

Theme of chapter: Paul continuing his journey through Greece and back to Ephesus, where he bid his brothers and sisters in Christ farewell, as he would not ever come back, as he would go to Jerusalem.

Most important verse: Acts 20:29 For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.

Most prominent word: repentance (changing of mind)

Teaching about Christ: The sign gifts of the Apostles is demonstrated here, as the power of bringing back the dead is given to Paul as he brings back this boy who fell and died.

Command to obey: give with a glad heart. it is much better to give than to receive.

Promise to claim: Christ is in heaven, but the Holy Spirit is here and dwells in the believer to comfort and help.

New truth learned: Paul knows he won't be returning back to Ephesus, making his journey to Jerusalem. He preaches all night and into the early morning to the church and bids them farewell.
