Judges 13

Theme of chapter: Manoah's wife was barren. The Lord came to her and told her should would bear a son. She couldn't drink wine or eat any unclean thing. She was to give birth to Samson who would be dedicated to God until he died. He would begin to free the people of Israel from their current oppression.

Most important verse: Judges 13:24 And the woman bare a son, and called his name Samson: and the child grew, and the LORD blessed him.

Most prominent word: Samson (strong; little one of Shemesh)

Teaching about Christ: Christ can use anyone who has faith.

Command to obey: your body is the Lords temple, treat it that way.

Promise to claim: the Lord uses the meek.

New truth learned: Samson's birth was miraculous as his mother was barren. He was predestined to be dedicated to the Lord's service.
