Theme of chapter: The first Thanksgiving Day

Most important verse: Deuteronomy 26:2 That thou shalt take of the first of all the fruit of the earth, which thou shalt bring of thy land that the LORD thy God giveth thee, and shalt put it in a basket, and shalt go unto the place which the LORD thy God shall choose to place his name there.

Teaching about Christ: Every good thing is given by Christ

Command to obey: Give thanks daily to the Lord for all blessings.

Promise to claim: The Lord keeps his promises even when we don't

New truth learned: The concept of a Thanksgiving Day is from the bible. The first Thanksgiving day is in this chapter as the people of Israel give thanks to God for their blessings.
