Joshua 21

Theme of chapter: The Levites are given cities from all the various tribes inheritance.

Most important verse: Joshua 2145 There failed not ought of any good thing which the LORD had spoken unto the house of Israel; all came to pass.

Most prominent word: gave (to be given; dedicated)

Teaching about Christ: The kingdom of heaven is our inheritance

Command to obey: trust in the Lord and all his promises

Promise to claim: God is good. All things God brings you is for your good. His promises are rock solid.

New truth learned: The Levites were not given an inheritance like the other tribes. They were the priestly tribe, and were given cities scattered about all the tribes, so they could minister unto the people of the regions.
