Deuteronomy 33

Theme of chapter: Moses gives his blessings to the tribes of Israel.

Most important verse: Deuteronomy 33:29 Happy art thou, O Israel: who is like unto thee, O people saved by the LORD, the shield of thy help, and who is the sword of thy excellency! and thine enemies shall be found liars unto thee; and thou shalt tread upon their high places. (The people of Israel belong to God)

Teaching about Christ: Jesus blesses his own.

Command to obey: Be mindful of the law, as it reveals that you are a sinner.

Promise to claim: God hasn't forgotten about Israel, and will restore them.

New truth learned: Moses, not being permitted into the promised land, gives a blessing to his people before he dies.
